40 years ago we had the pleasure of meeting Marie and her parents. As a result we found a new cousin to add to our already American bunch. Marie was received with open arms and we will treasure all the memories of our visits! Wishing I made it to the Villiages, we would of had a blast. Marie you will be missed. Rest in Peace.

It isn't very far the place to which she goes, it's just beyond the moonlit sky where the moonbeams grow, where day is night and night is day and sorry comes no more where love abides upon the tides along the golden shore. I already miss Marie. Niece Nancy Davis & I were blessed to spend 2 nights with Marie it her home this month. We had a wonderful visit and feel so fortunate to spend time with her before we returned to America. I have known Marie a number of years through my oldest sister Pat Harrell's. Pat & I stayed with Marie almost 2 weeks at Marie's home and had a wonderful visit full of laughter; good times traveling to see sites and just enjoying each other. Marie was with my sister Pat along with Nancy & her brother when Pat passed on to heaven. I know there are those in heaven rejoicing to see her and we will get to see her again one day on the Other Side. Thanks to all her friend who comforted her through these tough times. Oh Marie- we have seldom felt so much at a loss as in recent times. There was so little we could do to really help you. Your spirit in utter adversity was astonishing and exemplary. As neighbours and friends for twenty four years, there were many occasions for our mutual support. We shall cherish happy memories. Shirley and Trevor.

Marie, I miss you so much and hope you are at peace now with your mum, dad and Jasper. Thank you for being part of my life over the last 27 years and for the privilege of sharing and being part of your journey and fight over the last 2 years. You are a strong and independent person who did it your own way until the end. I will remember you always as an indomitable spirit who inspired so many and held hope in even the most darkest of times. It was an honour to walk this path with you. We laughed, we cried, we shouted with frustration, we gossiped and we held hands even at the end. I have carried out your wishes to the best of my ability, and only hope I have done you proud.
